Utilize the ASP with your PS90!
Logged at 12:11am on June 27th, 2006 by Jason
I had several requests recently for a custom weapon attachment stub specifically for the PS90 weapon platform.
I am pleased to say that I finished the prototype unit just moments ago. First thing in the morning it will be shipped to my manufacturer where I will have a short run of T&E units assembled. I am hoping to have them back in hand early next week. Just as soon as they arrive, I will get them sent out to my PS90 T&E group for function testing. If all goes well I should have them in production shortly there after.
I know many of you have expressed interest in this unit and are probably wondering just how long before you will be able to purchase one. At this point I would only be guessing so please don’t ask — “Are they ready yet?”
You are however more than welcome to follow this post and associated comments for updates. I will keep everyone informed of the progress right here. As always, feel free to voice your thoughts along with the rest of us. Its your feedback that drives us forward.

The prototype PS90 stub has reached our production unit and T&E samples are currently being asssembled. I should have the samples in hand before the end of the week and will begin shipping them to our T&E group by the weekend.

Will the ASP weapon attachment stub you are developing specfically for the PS90 weapon platform also work with the new FN FS2000 semi-auto carbine in .223 Rem?

Short answer no.
However, due to the centrally located dual sling slots on the FS2000’s stock, our existing stock stub would be ideal. It could be routed through the first slot, back through the second and through the tri-glide to secure it. Attached in this fashion, the FS2000 should hang vertically as intended with the single point platform.
If you would be interested in testing our stock stub on your FS2000 to confirm function, please send me an email with your postal mailing address and I will get one shipped your way free of charge.

Jason,
Thank you for the quick response.
Currently, I’m waiting to purchase the FS2000 (hoping it becomes available in .308); therefore, I’ll have to pass on your offer for now.
However, I did just order your ASP for my Benelli M1014, so I can let you know how that works.

Its coming, I assure you.
The release of our ASP-V™ took priority and the response has been overwhelming. Things are just now starting to settle back down and I can focus my attention once again on the PS90 stub. Just as soon as they are ready, I will be contacting those that showed interest and sending out samples.
Thank you for your patience.

Jason, I am issued the P90 in my police dept. I would be interested in test driving one of the new slings. I hate the 3 point that we have with it. I have been looking for an alternative. Thanks,

Jason, I have just got in a FS2000, and I would like to try out the sling if possible, if you still need someone to try it out. The only possible issue I see is if there is enough webbing to go all the way around the stock to go through the slots on both sides of the stock.
