I just received the Gear Sector GS-3045 Rail Mount QD Socket. First of all, I usually don’t write reviews but Jason at Gear Sector was very helpful during my ordering process that I thought I should. At first I was not able to order online because Guam was not in their shipping option. A quick e-mail and Jason responded the same day and corrected the problem. Shipping was fast…just received it today and couldn’t be happier. The mount is very low profile and matches up well with my Magpul XT panels. Thanks to Jason and Gear Sector for coming out with great new products.

Excellent swivel mount. Finish and quality are great. Its fits my Midwest Industries drop in rail very good. The crossbolt and mount have very deep threads so there is no worry about stripping. I only wish that Dark Earth had been in-stock. Shipping was very fast (item was in my mailbox 2-days after order was placed) and S&H was much cheaper than lots of other companies charge for a small order. Received great communication directly from Gear Sectors owner/CEO (Jason Trusty) about the order. Thanks and I look forward to doing more business with you and your company in the future.

Best QD mount I’ve ever used

I have tried 5 other types of QD mount for my sling and this is by far the best one I’ve used it keeps the weapon level and doesn’t snag like the others which stick out further from the rail. The finish is flawless and it has a stop so my sling doesn’t twist I have 6 years in the Army and have hundreds of hours spent carrying my weapon,take my advice and purchase this unit then you can thank me later

I take my weapons through some very difficult terrain not to mention half a dozen tactical and CQB classes where weapon retention and ease of use is a must so no safe queens or internet commando here this is from real world experience.

First time ordering from Gear Sector, was very impressed with the prompt service. Product arrived with all the necessary parts to assemble it. Fit and finish of the rail mount qd socket was excellent. Installation was a breeze and overall I am very happy with the product and service.

Really well-designed and solid mount. Nice strap indexing. Stays out of your way when you aren’t using it.

I’m impressed with the quality of this part.
