I’m thoroughly impressed with this product. The mount is rock solid and positions the light close to your weapon leaving a small footprint. I’m left handed and having the mount at the 2 o’clock position puts my G2 in perfect position for thumb activation. I definitely recommend this mount for any of the light models they accommodate.

Our department currently uses Streamlight Strions on our tac entry weapons. Since the Strion is a steel bodied frame I usually put a bicycle inner tube around it to get a really secure hold. It was a little hard to determine what size I needed to order since the sizes are based on Surefire model lights, which isn’t the same as Streamlight’s sizes plus me using the inner tube method. Based on the size difference I ordered a larger size thinking it would give room for the inner tube to be put around the Strion. The G2 mount was still too wide even with the inner tube and I ended up having to use two layers of inner tube, which made it extremely hard to get it into the mount. It did fit…eventually and with some persuasion. The mount puts the light very snug to the rails (ran in an 11 o’clock position), it sits in a perfect position for activation and in a natural position on our particular setups. I would definately recommend this mount to everyone as it is excellent and solid. If anyone else uses the Streamlight Strion model lights I would recommend one of the smaller sized mounts.
