This is the only mount I could find that tucks the flashlight tight to the handguards. I have DD Omega rails and with a thumb break grip, the tailcap of the light is positioned perfectly for my thumb. Mounted on the left rail the light is tucked up next to the Front Sight Post. With this mount the rifle is barely any wider. It is mahined beautifuly and the cerakote finish is even and seems very durable.

Last week, I was doing some training with some Fulton County Sheriff SWAT Officers and at the end of the training, I noticed the light mount on one of the officer’s rigs. As a firearms instructor for the State of Georgia, I train a number of law enforcement officers, private detectives, security officers and executive protection agents. I also own my own full service protection agency where we provide executive protection, firearms and combative training. I have also authored a number of books on firearms, protection and security.

I said all of that to say I know good gear when I see it and you make great gear. While I don’t know your background what I do know is you clearly understand how to run a weapon system and enhance an operators capabilities. Your mounts are sleek, clean and free of sharp edges. In the protection business you minimize risks and deal with threats. With Gear Sector, I don’t need to worry about being cut by my own gear.

I use to run a vertical foregrip on my rig, even though I held the weapon above the center-line. When Magpul came out with the angled foregrip I transitioned there as it was more conducive to my natural grip on the weapon. After looking at your Rail Mount Hand Stops, I can see how running the rail mount hand stops in tandem (one on the side and the other on the bottom of my quad rail), I can even further customize the weapon to not only my preferred fighting platform, but tailor the grip configuration to the exact size and placement of my hands.

Early this week as you know I ordered a light mount. Next week, when I am back in the office, I will be ordering the Rail Mount Hand Stops in Dark Earth. wish I would have known about you guys two weeks ago, when I ran an Urban Carbine Class, I probably would have helped you sell a few more units. Keep making great gear, you got a new fan!
